Every now and again it is worth catching up with the FLOTUS, Michelle Obama, and checking out her latest looks. There is always something in there to strike my fancy or pique my interest. Like this Preen dress that comes straight off the runway. Mixing the summer shades of pastels and pops of neon together seamlessly, this shift dress stands out for all the right reasons. Michelle was attending the opening ceremony of the Warrior Games last week.
She had popped out with her husband, Barack, to meet up with some military families a couple of days before, wearing this lovely red dress and THAT CARDIGAN, which is by L'Wren Scott. It is not the first time that Mrs O has bust out a L'Wren Scott cardigan that I would sell my left elbow for. Seriously. Love it beyond measure.
And then there was the Alaia belt. All these years later, she is still wearing it. I mean, Barack has made it quite clear that he doesn't love it. But this is a lady who knows her own mind. Beautifully accentuating her waist on this classic navy and black shirt dress, it is the perfect accessory for a visit to an airforce base. Great stuff.
PS: Dear Americans. Please vote BO back into the white house. If for no other reason that we love MO's style and would hate to go back to the Bush days of power suits. Thanks. Love StyleGuideCT x
