Accompanied by her adorable black cocker spaniel puppy, Lupo, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, attended the polo this weekend. It was the annual Audi Polo Challenge at Cowarth Park in Windsor and both Princes William and Harry were playing as part of the team. She wore a cute leafy sprig prent dress by Libelula and a good pair of wedges for a change.
Something has happened of late and Kate has taken note regarding the shoe situation. These wedges are so much better than last summer's efforts. This has a great strap and is much more chunky and proportioned better for contemporary fashion. And it is great that she has found something so workable as grass is tricky for heels - and we do know that the lady likes to recycle her shoes a lot!
It seemed that a great day was had by all and this kind of half-casual-half-formal outfit is a tricky one to get right so props to Kate for looking nice and borderline trendy. Now if she had just worn a ponytail we would have been cooking on gas.
What do you guys think about the wedges? An improvement right?
