It is said that this latest interpretation of the classic Snow White fairy tale Snow White and the Huntsman, draws on the gothic undertones in the original story. Well, it appears as if 'in character' dressing for premiers is all the rage at the moment. The two stars of the movie both wore sheer black floor length gowns to the London premier last night - both with gothic undertones. Charlize Theron looked beautiful as usual in a Dior wrap-top gown - with black underpants. I have to say that that I don't love this look. I mean she looks amazing, of course. It's just that I am over the whole pants under sheer skirt thing. And I do wish that someone would muster a sleeve for a nicer neckline as everyone seems to be neck-throttling of late. It is not flattering. Especially on one so broad shouldered. I do like everything from the neck up, however. Stunning hair, makeup and earrings.
Kristen Stewart fared a bit better in her Marchesa lace dress. She looked pretty and the dress did the disguising of nakedness, rather than some control underwear. She hates a heel, that's obvious, so I kinda want to see her forego these altogether, but never the less, she looks lovely. If awkward. Bless.
She looked a lot more relaxed on the weekend, when she and Charlize had a photocall at a castle somewhere in the English countryside. Kristen was in much simpler Louis Vuitton look, which suited her, and Charlize was her stunning self in Roland Mouret. What do you guys think? Am I being too harsh? Let me know.
