Despite being the daughter of music mogul Quincy Jones and a successful comedic actress from the American The Office and the utterly brilliant Parks and Recreation, Rashida Jones is not a household name here yet.
She is definitely knocking on the door of the A-list and yet keeps herself low key - and she works hard at her craft. Not for her the usual path of daughter-of-music-legend.
And it has recently occurred to me that her style reflects this and stays perfectly suited to this position. She is a comedienne but has avoided the pitfalls of quirky dressing (take note Sarah Silverman). She is a successful actress but has chosen to keep things a bit organic. No super-high-gloss, more of a Cameron Diaz hair approach. And yet she is unmistakably chic. Unavoidably stylish. Someone that we could conceivably emulate. Accessible. Approachable. Authentic. Possibly one of us?
