The kiddies in East Africa are of great concern to the lovely Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. Good. They are some of the poorest and most needy wee ones in the world. And Catherine and her royal hubby have put their money where their mouths are and made a five-figure donation to Unicef who look after these children. And, so as not to be just throwing money at the problem, Kate and Wills took off for Denmark yesterday to go and inspect and get involved in the work of Unicef. And raise awareness of the plight of these kids. I can't find fault with this. Sterling work all round, folks.
What I can grumble a bit about is the re-emergence of those darstardly black suede knee boots that Kate loves so much. Argh. I had blanked them from my memory. But now that the chill has set in, they are back. And I'll bet they will be around for some time. Grrrrr. But the coat is good. Red, which suits Kate and makes a good picture. Belted, to show off the figure and look a bit modern. LK Bennett, high street, so that the charitable execution is not overshadowed. Canny that girl. Played.
