One of the many things that I love about
Cat Deeley (other than the TV show she presents,
So You Think You Can Dance) is that she tweets photos of her fabulous life so we can all get a glimpse of it. She appears to be one of those celebs who has yet to loose sight of how lucky she is to have gone from Birmingham, middle England, to LA and attending the Emmy awards as a nominee. In these photos she is hanging out with Emmy winner,
Melissa McCarthy and
Mary Murphy, and later showing her 'bling' to
Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his boyfriend from Modern Family. She is of course wearing her
Monique Lhuillier dress here.
But in the build up to the show, the pre-Emmy parties and nominees reception, Cat also let us in her her behind the scenes preparation and what she was wearing. The dress up top is by
Chloe and she loved this one most, saying she really didn't want to take it off. In the middle is the green tie-dye
Roland Mouret gown she wore to the nominees reception. Who knew tie-die could work so well? And while Cat usually wears Jimmy Choo shoes, she actually wore
Christian Louboutin heels with the nude dress to the party at Cecconi's ahead of the awards.
One thing is for sure, Cat has yet to become blase about these kinds of events. It is also amazing that she is willing to share the behind the scenes with us. I love seeing it all - especially how much Cat seems to enjoy it. Well played, lady.
