Onse Charlize Theron (the other South African blonde 'princess' made good) was a guest of honour at the UK GQ Man of the Year Awards on Tuesday night in London. She looked incredible, of course, and was dressed in an unconventional, yet weirdly appropriate, Roland Mouret design of wide leg trousers and blouse. All in an icy silver grey that suits Charlize amazingly well. Wow.
Also in attendance were some other very gorgeous women, including the delightful Kylie Minogue, looking ten years younger than she actually is in black Dolce & Gabbana. And Emma Watson, a favourite among you my readers - dressed in a super cool Alexander McQueen tartan dress and fitted black leather biker jacket. And the ever-elegant Yasmin le Bon who was dressed in a Stella McCartney tuxedo - again totes appropres for the event at hand. And didn't she just look timeless? I love this look.
Of course we can't just look at the ladies' outfits on an occasion such as this. We need to take a butchers at the guys. Well, in this case, the gentlemen. My favourite tux style of the evening was the one worn by Stephen Fry - midnight blue with a contrast collar. Classic. His friend Hugh Laurie is my dream doctor and I love him. That's all. Bradley Cooper was wearing arguably the worst suit (all double breasted and shiny), but still managed to look impossibly hot. And Jamie Callum was dressed perfectly. Exactly as a mature young man should dress for such an occasion. Take notes please boys. Thanks. Over and out.
