Paris Celebrates Africa in Fashion, Art and Song

Last week my favourite ethical clothing brand, Edun, had some stylish folks in Paris cutting a rug and getting down to the soulful sounds of Angélique Kidjo and then U2 frontman Bono, in celebration of all journeys starting in Africa.
Edun shareholder, LVMH, were the co-sponsors of the event and everyone was dressed in either Edun or Louis Vuitton (note the shoes on Alexa).
Naomi was there and Ali Hewson, founder of Edun, was wearing new season collection designed by new name on board, Sharon Wauchob.
The co-sponsored event was part concert and part exhibit, with a selection of striking black-and-white Seydou Keita photographs from Jean Pigozzi's personal collection sharing space with groupings of smiling elflike creatures by contemporary pop Tanzanian sculptor George Lilanga.
