I'm not sure about you guys, but I loved Bridesmaids the movie more than any other last year. How we laughed and saw ourselves and our girlfriends in the characters. Sentimental, funny, original and uniting for all the girls' girls out there. And don't forget the Wilson Phillips soundtrack. Amazing. And while Rose Byrne's character of the 'new friend' (moral: never trust the new friend), was the least endearing, she turned out alright in the end. So we loved her. And we still do.
So it is lovely to see her in the latest issue of the Canadian fashion magazine, Flare. Wearing a smashing selection of designers including red Marchesa on the cover, purple Lanvin and peach Balenciaga. Just beautiful.
Aussie girl Rose talks about how in comedy the stakes are so much higher to get it right. And that the act of making people laugh is addictive. I can relate to that. It's my favourite thing in the world...after dressing up in amazing designer clothes, of course.
But Rose does it all. She appeared on a red carpet in a stunning Valentino dress last week that was perfectly suited to her. The red lip and the studded shoes toughened up the virginal dress in exactly the right way.
Rose also wore super-hip label Boy By Band of Outsiders a couple of days ago when she was promoting something on the radio in New York. An uber cool look that really demonstrates her ability to mix it up and blend Sydney and New York in her style. Unique and super-amazing, Rose Byrne may just be my new style crush. What do you guys think?
