One week ago today, I enjoyed a glorious and thrilling time with my family watching the Royal Wedding. As Kate, the suburban girl, walked up the aisle to get married she looked resplendent in Alexander McQueen. Now, just a week later, the very royal Duchess of Cambridge is dressed altogether quite differently and is walking up another kind of aisle.
Seen at her local supermarket in Angelsey where she lives with her working husband, Catherine was wearing a lovely combination of skinny jeans and ballet pumps - just like we all do when we head to the store to do the groceries. And she threw on a cool waterfall shawl for some colour. A simple outfit for a simple, everyday task. And she looks quite modern in it too. I just don't understand why she tends toward frumpy the minute she dresses up a bit. I blame Carole. What do you guys think? And can you believe it has been a whole week already since we all sat back and watched the greatest wedding show?
