Oh how I laughed when I saw this tee from UK supermarket giant, Sainsbury's. I mean, it is quite pretty and super cute. But also because it skirts around the 'no-t-shirt' position on Royal Wedding merchandise pretty smartly. It reminds me of the Kulula World Cup ads that were so minxy. You know exactly what they mean. But it doesn't need to be said.
From what I understand Prince William and his bride-to-be didn't want their faces emblazoned across people's chests on a t-shirt. I totally understand that. It is really tacky. So this option - retailing at only £10 - is a clever response. Great first-mover advantage from Sainsbury's. Now let's see how the rest of the UK high street responds.
