It was totally unexpected. After years of style watch at Coachella, I have never seen a rainy day. It looked more like Glastonbury on Friday. So of course all I want to know is how the music festival goers adapted to this turn of events. Very well it seems. I imagine the first call was put into their stylists to supply Hunters Wellington boots. A style staple for music festivals, of course. Then they piled on a few coats and scarves and off they went.
The parka, the furry gillet, the leopard print - all good style staples hanging on from the winter season, were all present. Good to see. Great investment pieces then.
Of course it comes as no surprise that Kate Bosworth was the absolute style queen of Coachella 2012 (in the absence of Alexa Chung) so there will be plenty more on her style to come. Lauren Conrad did a solid job but didn't provide many photo opportunities it seems, and Emma Watson has had plenty of practice at this kind of style, having been a regular visitor to Glastonbury over the past few years, so she did nicely. Keep coming back today, I have plenty of style dos and don'ts from Coachella 2012 for your edification.
